Mr. Aninao's mastery of the skill of legal and scholarly writing has also made him an accomplished appeal lawyer.

Mr. Aninao has authored more than 380 appellate briefs to date, and has been involved in over 58 published court opinions on both the state and federal level. Mr. Aninao has conducted oral argument before the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals at Austin, Texas, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit at New Orleans, Louisiana. His appellate experience also includes certiorari petitions before the United States Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.
